Ebenezer Plaza is a three-phased project consisting of two city blocks in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, New York. The development has 523 units of affordable housing, 40,000 square feet of community facility in the form of House of Worship and 21,000 square feet of commercial/ retail space in total .
A joint venture with Evangelical Christian Crusade to develop 89 units of senior housing under the HPD SARA term sheet and 10,575 square feet of community facility space to be used as a senior center with the NYC Department of Aging.
Grace’s Place proposes to provide 82 units of senior housing under the HPD SARA term sheet with a 30% set aside for formerly homeless seniors ages 62 and over. There will be commercial /retail space facing Central Ave and the residential, office space, and ground-level parking entrances located on Nameoke Street. The building will have active design features as well as include solar panels VRF and ERV heating and cooling systems for 21st-century energy efficiency.
A joint venture with God’s Battalion of Prayer to development 83 units of Senior housing and a 71,000 square foot charter school , site required a full Uniform Land Use Review Process (ULURP)
The site is located in the Downtown Far Rockaway Special Purpose District, an area created as part of a plan to strengthen the community by encouraging diverse use of vacant and underutilized sites near mass transit and primary corridors. The 62,500 s/f project will include 92 units, of which 60 will be supportive housing units and 32 will be M.I.H. units. The compact building mass will make use of Passive House design strategies for energy efficiency, and will be identified as a Supportive Housing project, providing supportive services by Core Services Group.
Brisa along with their development partner HOPE Community Inc. together as the East Harlem PACT Alliance were chosen by the residents of the Wilson Houses, NYCHA and HDC to be the developer for the substantial renovation of 398 units of NYCHA housing located in East Harlem . Scope of work will include massive rehabilitation of three buildings, social services programs as well as new amenities for the community. RFP WINNER
Brisa along with its development partner MEGA Group Development were selected by the Moore / Courtlandt and 152nd Tenant Associations, NYCHA and NYC HDC for the redevelopment of 684 units located in four buildings in the South Bronx.
